Where it started
Decades in the hat trade
Before Outback Kings had a name, Allan King spent decades working alongside premier hat manufacturers in the USA and Mexico — learning the craft where western hat-making runs deepest: how a felt body is blocked, how a crown holds its crease, and what separates a hat that lasts thirty years from one that lasts thirty weeks.
He brought that knowledge home to Australia and put it to work for the people who need it most — cattlemen, station hands, and working families across the outback, who've now trusted our hats for over three decades.
